Dont switch to the S America one. It reboots every 30min. I'm going to switch to the russian version today. I sent lim a video showing it but no responce on that as of yet.

I think it has to do with which version you already have installed as the original upgrade

It might have been the version before this one that was doing it. I loaded the new Russian version today. It seems to run better as mentioned before, less lag than before. I seem to have everything running, i managed to get Bluetooth up and running so Torque is working. (which is now part of the software bundle) I removed the extra nav programs, they were just taking up to much space.

A couple of other things I have noticed with this new update...for some it may not matter much. I cannot change boot logo or the boot animation to a custom boot animation as I used to. Lim said it was a problem and there is a new update....so off I go look again. There is a new upgrade dated 111314. Last one was from 110714. Hard to keep up with these guys

And I persisted with the temperature in the status bar.....a very detailed, short email and picture with the old screen and exterior temperature circled. This is what he wrote back, but not sure what he is talking about with the radio:

hi,
Thanks for the feedback and i will ask engineer to add back for you and new one now have the radio widget for you to make the selections of radio easily.

He also just sent this of an upcoming upgrade:
"aslo recentyl we make the phone call and dialing and with internet access externally and with tracking system apply on the car and aslo try to add the camera capture from outside and send to your phone when you are at some where , soon ready will advise ."

I already have the AUX/USB in the car, so I would just need the first 2 links correct to connect the stock fin?

Is their anywhere else to buy it locally instead from China. Looking to do the install next weekend.

Thanks.

I don't trust these guys. I was also quite excited about the potential of this unit and contacted Mr. Lim to try and get the low down on exactly what works and what doesn't before I buy. He replied to me that people on the site simply don't know how the unit works which is why there are issues. He claims everything works fine. So I cannot determine who is telling the truth although I think people here are pretty smart and still have issue. So until I start to see consistent success with this, I'm not willing to part with the cash. My buddy at the dealership (Service Manager) also said to be careful putting aftermarket head units in because they've seen many gremlins whos up in other parts of the car due to how integrated everything is. He is open to mods etc and owns a Camaro so he wouldn't try to make me paranoid if it wasn't true.

Here's the response to my e-mail. I only asked what is working and what is not and he felt the need to quote me a price. Below his statement he lists all the things the unit can do with no mention of any of it being not functional.

Hi,

PI is attached for your actions. If pay to west union, amount is 939USD and if pay to paypal, amount is 982.53USD.
Please send us copy if make payment and delivery will be arranged ASAP.
Detailed address with zip code and tel. No. are needed when set order.

And I can tell you in the forum not all is correct as they don't know how to use and keep saying something no good and there is competitor they don't like to see there is so good android camaro in the market with following configurations :

If it all worked good they wouldn't have 50 upgrades for 1 OS. But I deal with it as there is nothing comparable.

But understand your caution

So I upgraded with the newer 11/13/14 Russia version and now get an error with iGo. Almost need a degree in programming to figure out what to move around to get things to work.
