I've got the ones I posted on page 83. Not sure if you seen those. I can take some closer ones if you want. I was on the fence about it too for a while and decided to pull them both off. Front and rear. I sought the opinion of friends and family about how they thought it turned out since I knew it wasn't the end of the world Worse case I could always replace the stripe if I wanted too but everyone seemed to love it and I don't have to worry about it fading, or getting anything on it, etc. I like it myself.

WOW!! Looks FANTASTIC!! My hood stripe has a "blemish" in it, and although it is noticeable only at certain angles, it drives me crazy! My Dealer said they would replace it, but "could not guarantee how it would turn out - and it may be worse than the actual blemish itself". They advised me to wait for a few months, to see of the weather / heat etc. would somehow magically make it disappear.
I never thought of actually having it removed, and I REALLY like it! Like Kaizer_911 asked, would you kindly post up some more pics. It would be GREATLY appreciated. Also, did you remove the entire rear striping as well, or only the hood matte one?

Hey Mike,. Yeah absolutely no problem. I'll get some closer pics today for you guys that are interested. I did remove the rear trunk center matte piece as well. Lurking under those areas is IMHO some beautiful clear coated Night Fall Grey color!.

Like you I had a couple blemishes on mine as well and my OCD would draw my eye to it every time I looked at the car. My original plan was to replace the piece but ever since removing it I just couldn't bring myself to putting one back on and like I mentioned earlier how many people complimented me on how it looked without it not to mention not having to worry about how sensitive Matte vinyl is to care for or what it might look like in several years in this punishing hot Florida sun. .

Thanks for the PM Pics!!!!!!! Within 15-minutes of receiving your pics, I called my Dealer and the Matte stripes will be removed first thing in the Spring!

Me to. I will just have it polished by the Body Shop, and in late March I am having the CQuartz Finest put on, so it will work out well..........

I would like your opinion. I just ordered the 6le side splitter for my 50th and not sure what color to paint it. I could go with gloss black to match the rear valance and grill or nightfall metallic to match the front splitter that comes on the 50th. What do you guys think?

That's a tough call. I would say gloss black to keep a nice contrast going like with the valance and grille.
