My friend/salesperson told me that you guys were running two shifts now. Is that true, and if so, will that mean the progression from 3000 to produced will be faster?

I am growing somewhat impatient and could have bought a dealer car with 1200 miles and a cigarette burn on the arm rest for sticker today but decided to wait...

If any of the questions have already been answer, I apologize. Thanks a bunch for all your info prior.

No second shifts...starting Saturdays on the 13th of June...

Adding a day to the procss will obviously speed things up.

Last I heard they were at 450 cars a day coulda done 460 but the line shut down a little early. They are shooting for 480. That being the case at full production level and an extra day they would be making 480 cars a week more.

Hypothetically of course...

Correct me if I am wrong Mr. Mole...

That would be 480 cars a day. Adding an extra day (Saturday) to production will mean an extra 480 cars per week (in theory)

Hey mighty Mole (where do you keep your cape on the shift??)

#NJDMSF IBM 2SS/RS hit 3400-order broadcast 6 days ago. Can you give her a swift kick in the ass (in the best possible way) when you're done with her? She is anxious to get to her new home!

Thanks for humoring all of the 'outsiders' with your 'insider' knowledge. Hope you get some extra time off to log some more miles on the FJR

Question

Hello Mole,

I drove by the Oshawa plant a couple of weeks ago on my way to Kingston. Wished I could have stopped by (like they would've let me in!!).

Just curious, how long will you be producing the 2010's? In other words, what is the anticipated date to begin the 2011 production?

Thanks for all of the great info!
