Also the short exhaust runners might hurt too. Your car MAF reads higher than the Mustang but it seems like it isn't making good use of the air.

Ported the LFX manifold to 80mm today, took a while but looks decent. I don't need it 100% smooth since I need some turbulence to mix the meth.

Even if I could, it would be a pain to get it open. The connections from the black box electronics section to the motor on the TB are spot welded together. I've ruined 2 trying to open them. Could maybe drill a hole, Dremel the connections apart, then solder back together and hope it works I guess?

Sounds like a lot of work.

Magnum going 80mm now, eh?

Matching the adapter plate and as big as I can go without hitting the O-ring holder. Will see if it makes a difference in my logs when it finally stops raining.

So opening the hole to about 80mm and keeping the 76mm tb? Or switching to the 80 also?

I'm going to keep using the 81mm to see if there were any gains from the extra little porting. I was going to test out the LLT manifold with it but I would need to see if I can drive the car without the methanol direct port injection.

Had a little fun today putting it in 3rd gear on manual mode then going from 30 MPH to 95 MPH. I have the tune setup to where it will automatically shift at the top of 3rd gear so I don't bounce of the limiter. I can tune it to act like a 3rd type of shift pattern. At 85 MPH the converter started locking.

Wasn't the fastest run but you can hear how healthy the engine sounds, and it is a lot better with the stock engine mounts.

Was doing some reading and the 5C and 2e converters both flash to the 4000-4200, the 2e just flashes faster which is needed to spool your Turbo's up.

Well that's interesting, I was under the impression it was going to be lower more like 3400-3600. On one hand I want it high so I can leave hard but on the other hand I don't want it to be a PITA to daily drive. I guess I'll find out soon enough.

I wonder how much it will help me to build boost at the line when the throttle won't open up all the way...

Might be based on the stator they used, won't know till you get it together.

On the line you should have the RPM's up which will be spinning the turbine faster than idle, since there is no boost the wastegates will be closed, but the blow off valve will release any boost. One you open the throttle up the turbines are already spinning and the blow off valve will slam shut creating instant boost.

Makes sense. I'm ready to do some testing!

Might have found a way to keep the HPFP from losing so much pressure at the top end, there is actually a software limitation that is holding the HPFP back. Yesterday at the top of 3rd gear my fuel rail pressure was down to 8 MPa (1,159 PSI), today I changed only one setting by less than 5%, the pressure only dropped down to 8.9 MPa (1,291 PSI). The pressure is still dropping too low but I can at least stop it from throwing codes. Will never be enough fuel to run it with the HPFP alone with this pulley, but the good part is if my meth fails it will spray so much fuel that it will cause misfires, killing all the power.

Bad news is the car is too fast, I floored it from a 30 MPH roll, spun the tires, got traction in 3rd gear and was in 4th gear before I knew it. Best part though was 4th gear actually had power, before it would kind of die off but not now. Ready for the track now so I can get kicked off of it for not having a rollcage.
