Yes, Lim just sent me an email and he also suggested to do the RCA connection.

For those who have an issue with the USB Webcam, this is his suggestion ( Haven't tried it yet ):
" for usb webcamera , you need to key in the driver as /dev/video3 and exist , then it will work for sure , please dont press enter "

My Steering wheel controls are working, Volume Up and Down, Next or Previous song, Mute but Haven't tried to initiate a call yet.

It even comes with a pre-installed App "Steering" to re-assign each button from the Steering to do what you want.

You're not too far from where i'm at. I might ask to meet up and play with this unit a bit to see how it is. I have an avic-8000nex, and i'm not sure if it's the scosche kit being buggy or the radio, but from time to time, the thing shuts off on me or won't boot up, and sometimes the navi is wonky.

I sent them an email requesting cost of unit with options etc. if I can get it to fit in my budget I may pull the trigger on this unit. Cost wise and functions seem better then the mylink system as an upgrade to my stereo. I really think both metra and scosche kits are butt ugly. The stock radio ac and heat controls look the best to me. 50 pages to read through here is a lot of reading can some people who bought this unit give me some pros and cons?

I will have mine for sale after this week includes everything from the radio antenna adapter, USB/AUX, RCA cables for the BA system, and the unit if anyone of you guys on the fence are interested.

Today, after I did the RCA connection. I noticed a constant scratching noise that i didn't have before when it was connected through the Harness.

No matter what the volume is, even at Volume 0, you still hear scratching noise from all speakers.
The only time it will go away is when I turn the head unit off.

Anyone experienced this ?

Just got this from Lin for pricing. Was really wanting the 500gb hard drive I seen mentioned earlier. Anyone know if he discontinued that? I asked him about adding that to a model that doesn't have it but no reply to that yet. Anyone know if its easilly added to unit? I'm hoping on getting the used one getyouone mentioned selling and want to add it to that one if it doesn't already have it. As far as the bugs this thing has doesn't really bother me much as I don't really use my phone often especially when driving. Only thing that might bug me is playing music via Bluetooth not working but with the big hard drive ill just install it there and not worry about it.

Pic of someone else's order with SIM card and 3G access which seems to be missing from my invoice as well anyone know if this works on verizon network? I know verizon and Att systems different or at least they used to be so equipment won't work on opposing systems

According to lim he says there is a 1tb external hard drive available as well. Been trying to get him to tell me if he will sell options separately without buying the whole system not getting much of an answer but that may be due to language barrier I see he not always understand. I find it helpfull to send him pictures of options etc I want
