I am going to hold my opinion until I see the car in person.

SO SO SO so so Glad i pulled the trigger on my 2013 ZL1, and didn't wait to see the 2014s !!!!
I don't like those one piece block tail lights, almost as dumb as Ford's Mustang stupid "Kit Car" cascading tail lights ! Looks like they also made the upper front end grill much much more narrow, looks like the car is squinting it's eyes now. Hood looks very tacky, kinda looks like my storm window shutters or the air intake to my clothes dryer. Michael knew what waz up tho, he asked about Chevy's 580hp model ! So Do You Think The Refreshed 2014 Camaro Will Fail?
Yes or No? Seems so much bashing going on around about the way the car was designed. And even bigger questions on who "Approved" the design up at General Motors offices. Sometimes change can be a good thing and other times it can be a nightmare. It seems currently Camaro5 community isn't very happy with the design at all. And most definately don't plan on trading in their Current Camaro for this model anytime soon. They dropped the ball revealing it in the wrong place at the wrong time.![]() What specifically don't you like about the refreshed 2014 Camaro? And what would you like to be changed immediately? No one's perfect even GM makes mistakes. If you can ( ) the designer team out with fresh ideas since it seems their running out of options GM will be grateful thanks. If their's anything at all which seems like a (Miracle) to ask..what do you like? My guess won't be the vents, lights or hood. ![]() ![]() Hopefully better pictures tomorrow will bring better judgement. They say "If it's not broke, don't fix it". wise words spoken.

It won't fail, but I can't see it having that wow factor it did (and still does) for the 10-13.

Neither. It's just a late cycle facelift to keep the car fresh for the next year or so until the 6th gen. The car isn't really changing or being redefined. It won't make a splash, but it won't fall on its face, either. It'll just kinda be.
It may be a hint of what the 6th gen may look like, though....thinking perhaps this is a way to smooth the transition from the 5th gen look to a less retro, more modern look, kinda a half-way in between the two look. Maybe.

I can't get over how most of you are reacting!! I welcome the change. How many people on here have changed their hood or bumper or thought about it?
To freak out about the taillights and say heads should roll?!? They are just that, tail lights. Sales will not drastically plummet....some really ridiculous responses here. If you don't like it, that is fine but don't bash Scott and everybody else involved. I personally like the new hood and bumper.

I like the refresh and have been unpleasantly surprised by all the negativity. But hey this is the Internet I guess. All the negativity sounds like the corvette forums did wnen the c7 debuted. people need to realize that the Camaro can't stay stagnant and the same forever. It has to keep evolving. Still looks like a really nice Camaro to me. Lets see one in synergy green with the black zl1 wheels!!
On another note I'm really liking the 2014 cts-v sport too

The front facia looks like it sat out in the Texas sun too long and melted down a little bit like the wicked witch of the west. Either that or they've employed some cheap plastic surgeons again to update there cars. Maybe if someone could photoshop in a heritage grill instead, into that grill opening it might show some level of promise. The body lines are exactly the same as the current model from the sides. The lower grill is deceiving, it may look larger but the opening is the same as the current model. There's just that extra black bit on top to give that illusion of a larger inlet. I'm guessing the hood extractor will only be on the v8 not the v6 to separate body styles like the current mail slot on the v8 and the mail slot delete on the v6. The steering column is identical to a 2013 as far as I can tell. Well ford was looking for an edge to increase mustangs sales and chevy handed it right to them.

The gripe I have is that nothing is fluid with the original lines of the car. Everything looks out of place like it was forced on. I am sure some people will like it, but the general feeling is that not many do. While everyone's opinion is to be respected, I honestly am disappointed. I was expecting a better job with all of GM's current releases being well received. Feels like this is the weakest entry. I will stick with my 2010. Here is hoping for better news tomorrow and a better looking 6th gen.

Can we stop complaining until people actually see it at the NY auto show. Maybe this is a euro version, or the show got the engines wrong. Because GM did say there will be performance upgrades...
