How can I make my pictures larger, it does not want to keep my resize.

Finally did a few nitrous passes this weekend. Stock tires ( 20" Pirelli PZero ) Down to 25 PSI and a little bigger burnout.

Definitely sounds like fun.

I'm going to the track for the first time with my LS tomorrow. Conditions are going to be hot so I'm not expecting good numbers, but I would like to get track experience.

Very nice JLS. Too bad you guys are in the middle of a heat wave. You should try to get down to ATCO for black Friday. Usually good DA that late in November.

Thanks. I'll be doing it again, the car has more in it. Driver needs more experience.

Went out to Thunder Valley Raceway Park in Noble, OK with my brother. I was car 277. His Corolla XRS was car 276. We got 10 passes in. Conditions were not very favorable. Temps were at 90, dewpoint was around 75. The DA was 3743. This was my first time drag racing. For the life of me, I could not get the car to hook up good . I'm sure the LS wheels/tires didn't help, but I still would have liked to get better times. Wheel hopped pretty bad one run and got 16 seconds :/
On my best E/T and MPH, I had a bad reaction time (see the 7:51 pm run timeslip, 14.707 @ 98.12 MPH). On my last few runs I was trying to see how close to the rev limiter I could get. I hit it a couple times, but was at least consistently in the high 14s by then. Overall, it was a great learning experience, but I really really need to get my 60' times down.

Oh yea, those 60' times are killing you. Try launching at 1000 rpm and that should help. I had the heritage rims and tires as well and swapped them for the lt rims so I wouldn't have to replace tires.... Helped so much! They are so much lighter!! I run 2.2 60' on the tires I have. Looking for some cooper zeon rs3-a tires... Hoping to get a little better 60' to get the times down.

I'll have to try that the next time I go. The bad thing is the weather is only going to be hotter.
