The LS3s in the Camaro, Corvette, and G8 GXP are all the same.

Wasn't this topic about the likes and dislikes of the Mustang? We took a wrong turn somewhere

I guess all Mustang guys are this dense................. They are the only two cars that share an engine by name. Their tunes and power outputs are different. "Corvette Engine" is a gimmicky salesman term and meaningless.

yes like i said their tunes are differnt but they are the same engine, they have the same heads, same bore and stroke and same block and same intake manifold, same runner length same valve diameter, they are the same engine with differences in tuning.

Dense? it's called facts.

Bro seriously I am trying to get this topic back to where it was so it doesn't get closed and you not only continue with off topic crap you start antagonizing by calling people dense. Either get back on topic or go away

In a way.

LSA is derived from LS9 which is derived from LS3.

Am I really the only one who wouldn't see a problem with this? You develop great technology and you implement it where ever you can. This is pretty standard stuff for any company dealing with consumer products.

If the LS3 was a crappy engine I could see the complaints, but who the hell cares when it's a great engine?

there is no problem with the engine, just informing. when one guy says its not the ls3 from the corvette there is an information issue to be corrected.

Why would GM rebadge the Aveo as a G3?

Half the things GM does make no sense.
