400 crank horse power. 20% or so drivetrain loss puts you around 320 to 330 rwhp.

Yeah well at least your not driving a 70 chevelle ss with a 454 making "450" hp but actually high 280-290 to the ground when it dynos, remember old school measurement was even more liberal until they changed it, running open headers on a engine stand max timing no accessories was the way to get the rating......And why altering things a little on a BBC did net gains like advertised afterward and of course the aftermarket follows the automakers, and sometimes the other way with the tail waggin the dog when the makers notice what people want. As makers were known to lie about peak HP numbers sometimes to make them lower for stock car racing.....and not say come out with something so revolutionary the racing community bans it or makes it what everyone can use as they now know the edge the other car had.

I remember when the Chevy SS pickup came out.....maybe early 90s if I recall. It had the 454 big block. Took one for a test drive and was like WTF ? This things a tub.

What are ballpark numbers to expect from an LS3 with rotofab, sw headers/exhaust and tune?
