Kit Cam 1 with 8500NEX

Hi
I'm in the process of installing a Kit Cam 1 kit with RR2 and a Pioneer 8500NEX in my 2010 Camaro 2SS, I have a few questions I was hoping someone could help with.

First the 8500NEX has Nav so will need GPS. The kit comes with it's own GPS which would need to be mounted.

Does anyone know if it's possible to use an adapter/modify the factory XM shark fin antenna to work with GPS?

If there is an adapter does anyone know what it is called?

If I purchased a SXC300 and used the factory shark fin antenna would it work for both gps and xm?

Side question behind the factory din there is another wire all taped up with foam that looks identical to the radio antenna, does anyone have any clue what that wire is for?

Thankyou!

There’s definitely and adapter for it, unfortunately I don’t have the part number handy right now.
