Why wouldn't they partner up with someone in the states, and ship them back and have them restored and make a fortune? I'm not talking now I mean back a while...

Plus, generally speaking most of those cars didn't look all that collectible in the first place. 2nd gen F-bodies, a C4 Corvette ... there isn't much interest (and therefore value) in those cars. Certainly not 20 years ago when those cars might have been a cheap & easy flip, since they were still a dime a dozen back then. I don't know too much about the collectivity of Mustangs, but none of the ones shown screamed 'oh one of those!?!?' to me. Mostly it was 'yup, thats an old Mustang'. About the only car there that I noticed which could maybe have been worth sending to the US was the pre-restored 1st gen. The timing would have been crucial on that. Too soon after its restore and its too expensive to buy. Too late, and its too expensive to fix up again. Lastly, I know that there are restrictions on the importation of Japanese market cars less than 25 years old. I'm not too familiar with the law, so it might not apply to cars that were originally imported to Japan from the US.

If they're ex US Military junked cars, easy to bring back... if they're Japanese imported, pain in the arse to bring back.

Maybe they're gearing up again, this time for NK. Lots of American steel made it's way over in the 1930s solely to be recycled into their war machine.

The 70 Z/28 is the only one I see worth anything. Who wants a 307 first gen? Nobody I know. The others are just trash.

What?! Muscle cars originated in America, so the graveyard for them should be in America. Japan hasn't a single muscle car in any of the automaker's lineups.

A 429 Cobra Jet Mach1 is worth a decent amount of coin. So is the '70 Mustang fastback with the big-block. Even the Mach1's with 351's can fetch $25-$35k. The 2 'Vette's that were there are worth nothing. The '69 Camaro has potential for a clone car.

Heck, the Z/28 and WS6 TA 6.6 have potential too.
