Maybe I should let Heather answer...but I think...*think* it's the same general idea as the Cobalt, just with two sets of information 'screens' instead of one long list (like the Cobalt). You choose your menu, and then cycle through the information, one at a time. It looks like one menu is performance-oriented, and the other is for everyday touting around. The two menus provide separation of information, thus speeding up the time it takes to cycle through the info screens.

Sorry I jumped on this Heather, am I close?

Thanks Dragoneye! That sounds right to me. One long list to cycle through vs. two organized the way it is makes it more user friendly IMO. You tend to cycle through once in a while, and leave it to a preferred setting th rest of the time. It is also where directions pop up when using turn by turn navigation which is cool and safer than on the radio.

Thanks. Sounds good to me. I'll probably stick with the coolant temp in the vehicle info menu, but in the trip menu I'll be cycling through DTE, avg fuel economy, and trip odometers, as I usually cycle through those on my Cobalt.

Thanks Heather, Now we know. Guess it is a lot like the one I bought from K Mart. It is a good one and has the Craftsman name on it. Bought one from Wal-Mart that would not blow up a baloon.

No you do not! I orered the spare originaly but then canceled it.
I don't change tires anymore, I have road service and never did feel safe driving with that donut on the front and you sure can't rotate with a bumper jack.

Got a question and not sure how your '08 Cobalt is but my '06 Monte has the 4 buttons on the dash and the first 2 are info. Where are the buttons located now and still 4?

Rotate what? Unidirectional, different size rims and tires front and rear. There is no rotating on this car... can't even swap left and right (don't know why you would) without dismounting and remounting the tires...

My tires rotate every time I drive someplace. I don't know why so many people have issues with this.

Controlling the menus is totally different than the Cobalt, and I think your Monte, too. There's a DIC stalk on the left side of the steering wheel. I don't know exactly how to use it, yet. Heather will have to elaborate on that.

Not unless you add the RS package. Even the 2SS doesn't have HID (Halo).

My 2LT will have the same size 19" tires and wheels, front and rear. Only SS and RS have two different sizes.
NOW, what I ment by rotating. If you have the donut, and a flat front, w/front wheel drive like I do now. You do not want that donut on the front. Today we have heavy snow here, just think what it would be like with a donut on.
