All i have to say is: WTF?

Back on the rig after my day trip to New Orleans... All is not well, but it's good enough... I asked the doc if there were any limitations, and he said I would self limit when needed...

I do have two bulging discs in my neck, and a substantially strained trapizius muscle on the left side causing the pain in my left arm, and they are still looking at the MRI results... But I'm back at work... Good thing this isn't on the right side or I might have to consider an automatic... Yeeechhhh...

Damn brother you sound like me 10 years ago man you need to limit your hard labor or it will get worse. I literally snapped 2 transverse procceses in my back when i tried to hang onto chaining a pipe addition on the actual platform itself, thought i could just get in there and show the youngsters how to do it, i ended up flat on my ass and couldn't move, man did i feel like a complete idiot! It was then that i realized my body cannot do what my mind says it can, chalk it up to a painful learning experience, now it's the knees need to be replaced for the last 5 years and the feet are in dire need of help with surgery due to the overcompensating of the knees all these years! Bad shape my friend don't overdue it period! And of course dealing with the many jabs of the Roughnecks & Derrickman for my shenanigans!

I hear you... Loud and clear... But it probably won't help this hard head... And like you, I play hard with the young'uns... They kill themselves to help me but I still get in among em and usually overdo it... Oh well...

Moving the pod stand, dragging ram blocks for an 18 3/4 bop, etc... I may never learn... Where is that hard head smiley...

Getting slapped by chains or getting smashed by tongs is the worst, seen a many guys get broken ribs because they had a mental lapse, new rules in place in Alaska do not allow longer than 12 or 14 hour shifts now.

Just dropping in. Been a while. I see you're out on the rig again. Stay safe and no more injuries!

Yeah we have more stringent rules as well... Though we are allowed 16 hour days... 13 is standard for guys like me....

Debate? I am so busy I missed it

We are updating our website. It is about 70% converted. We have put so much information into our parts, packages and by vehicle it is a mammoth project. We keep finding things that need rewrites, pictures... I spent most of my evening with two really good guys proofing the page order for the Tech Talk Section. That will go up tomorrow.

I need a drink
