welcome to the club. Everyone with a 2013+ and no 1LE package messed up IMO. Best bang for the buck.

I gotta be the only person on C5 that just does not notice wheels.

They keep the tires on, I am not a wheel guy.

For the multiple thousands you are going to lose couldn't that be just put towards aftermarket suspension mods to out handle a 1le

Those actually can be fun and serve a purpose. Wheels are wheels.

these cars hold value pretty good, but do any of us think for a second we have a 69 z/28 or even a real 69 ss? the point is, it took 30 years and barrett jackson to jack the price up on those... if you can afford it, trade and next time think about what you really want before buying. i don't regret my purchase at all because i did'nt need the upgraded suspension to drive around in metro atlanta but to each, his own... and not crazy about the black hood which you already have and will be paying about 500 bucks for

To answer your question yes. I could, but then again, it is still not a 1LE.

What kind of mods did you plan on adding before you decided to think about the switch?

Plenty of companies on this site can sell you a better suspension package than what comes on a stock 1LE. If you trade in your going to loose a lot more money than it would cost for some upgrades.

The thing that irritates me the most is doing all that, my numbers won't match that of a true 1LE Camaro. So good buy resale in the future.

I did months of research and am so ashamed I was beaten down by wanting a few more tech options vs performance oriented package.
Don't worry about "numbers matching" These cars are so mass produced that they'll probably never be an investment later on down the road. Only ones I could see ever holding/gaining value years from now are the COPO and Z/28.

Keep the SS and mod it. The amount you'll get raped on in a trade-in could have been $$ to make your SS better than a 1LE down the road.

What's the problem? Just go get a 1le. It's obvious that's what you want.

I could of shit a brick when the ZL1 came out, but the thought never came across my mind to trade in my 2SS/RS. Part of it was that it was made in the 1st month of the start of 5th Gen Camaro production; and the other is the massive mods I had done by Lingenfelter. I also have 70 more HP and could easily jack that up more by changing pulley size (and the entire drivetrain could handle it).

But you have buyer's remorse before even making a payment. I have no advice for you; unless you plan on getting married soon- better hold off on that!!

Yeah I guess it is just buyers remorse. I have talked with the wife for years about buying the new gen 5 camaro. Did my research. I am just going to stick with it, mod it and be happy. Thanks for letting me vent guys. To be honest I really love the car. I just wish it was tighter and handling was better.

It's already slightly faster, straight line, just get a better handling package, and your faster and better handling, don't trade, you will lose.
