The Hellcat does put down to the tire almost what the c7 Z06 puts out at the crank.

Now, if these guys with stage 2/3 aero's want to roll race then they're at a big disadvantage already.. 1Lz's are the way to go for a street car.

It will be interesting to see how it works out. It seems like a driver's race to me.

Around turns - there's not going to be any challenger from a, HC-car.
My buddies HC comes in at 4300 lbs and change.

I think you keyboard racers might want to go to a dragstrip sometime and get a grip on reality.

What happens at YOUR dragstrip is not how it happens everywhere.

Wait, someone thinks a 4 door mostly steel car with 700ish HP is going to beat a 2 seater mostly fiberglass car with 650ish HP in a drag race? Ooooook. The video above the Charger was actually closer than I was expecting.

Only people that race and or watch their buddies race their HC's can have a valid comment even if the "keyboard racers" actually have facts to back them up?

Nothing mysterious or special about it. The car is around a half second slower with 60 more hp but 1000 lbs more weight.

Bench racing math it runs right where it should in relation to the zo6. It's not mythical or underrated.

I'd say about 50% of the mopar crowd thinks this. Don't tell me you haven't noticed lol.

The charger had drag radials and intake the zo6 was completely stock. Zo6 was still .6 quicker. I know I said both stock but I missed the vid description showing the HC was modded.

I'm usually open minded about engine design but I completely agree with this in the case of the GT500 lol.

Yes, physics is what it is. To some it's as if drag racing is something new and unexpected???

Most newer Camaro owners get rude awakening when the get to a real track. Been a Chevy guy my entire life, owned one Camaro which was a great car (85 TPI Iroc) which was sorely underpowered but it was a great corner car and I towed a boat with it all over and across California. Still own a Chevy powered by a dinosaur which makes 901hp n/a with one 4bbl carb. I do actually go to the track guys and see a very wide variety of cars show up and do what they can do. Like I said, what's on paper doesn't necessarily translate to what reality is.

Don't all those guys get paper? It's funny how 1 track is the litmus test for everywhere. Look at the ZL1 fast list for stock and you can get a pretty good idea of what the car is capable of since it is from tracks all over.
