The biggest shock was defending champion Germany getting beat by South Korea and out of the tournament! This has to be the all time upset of the World Cup.

Germany might not have won it all.
But after 4 years of waiting I was hoping to see a good run to try and get it. Now what? Belgium I guess.

I watched the Mexico v Sweden game last night on Fox Sports Go. Mexico was making themselves plenty of opportunities to score but just fell slightly short each time. The reffing was horrible this game for both teams. It's was almost like Sweden stumbled into this win.
Mexico might give Brazil a run for it in the Round 16. |

I’d rather see Mexico advance than Brazil. England would be a nice story as well.

I agree.
England v Belgium today... looks like they are both already advancing. It might be a boring game, but hopefully not. |

I picked England-Belgium when Germany was eliminated, so I’m hoping I’m right.
This is probably the last chance for Belgium’s “golden generation”, but my heart wants to see England win. |

F France.
If they manage to win the cup, at least they won’t have cheated like they did in 1998. GO ENGLAND!!!!! |

France won a World Cup they didn’t cheat at. Congrats. I think Belgium would still win a home and home like in Champions League. I fear this was their chance.

Kinda lame.
First goal...free kick outside the box because Greaseman did his little diving act. Second...kinda iffy call for a P-Kick. How could a ref. give a P-Kick in the world cup when VAR couldn't decide and he had to look twice himself. If it took that much to decide if it was intentional hand ball the ref should have let it go. That call changed the game.
