Racewars and the Bittburg Drags are coming SOON. Google it. I personally haven't gone to either event yet, but from what I understand, track prep is nonexistant.

I am in Stuttgart as well. I am pretty sure I have seen your car on Patch Barracks and Panzer Kaserne. Very nice - you have one of the few fifth gen Camaros in the area. Do you ever go to Meilenwerk on the weekends? I own a Black 2010 GT with black wheels. The car is lowered about 2" all the way around. While there are several black 2010-2012 Mustangs running around, mine is still a "little" unique.

I plan on attending this year - hope to see you there.

The Autobahn is overrated. For comparison, it is not unlike I-85 in Atlanta or I-95 in DC on the weekdays. Depends on where you are and when. There is always some slow ass VW ready to pull out in front of you doing 100 kph while you are doing 200 kph.

Camaro owners,

There is a drag race event this weekend (8-10 June) at Bitburg.

Are you going to the 1 mile event or the 1/4 mile event in Mengen?

I was disappointed with the times I got at Bitburg. Best of the day was a 12.98. Having said that, the car isn't setup well for a drag race - street tires and stock suspension. There were two bolt-on 5.0's on the stock Pirellis getting pretty consistent 12.5 to 12.6 but they were trapping around 110 and I was trapping around 117. Bugged me to no end. I would spin all of second gear unless I feathered the throttle. The biggest problem with my car was the driver.

No 1 mile event in Mengen unfortunately, only 1/4 mile...

Full mile is in Gross-Dölln - close to Berlin!
http://www.race-at-airport.de/index....=7&event_id=58

And as far as ETs are concerned: these unprepped airfields are a pita... no grip whatsoever... this plus the idiot behind the wheel (being me) make up for the most embarassing ETs...

However: same track for everyone... a fair competition.

The only one for me to defeat out there is myself (and the 12s maybe...)
With only 4 runs (2 of them in the rain) I've already learned that hp is nothing, as long as the driver is not (yet) up to the task!!!

That's about to change this year I hope

Nice looking Camaro man. I have yet to get a close look at a 5th Gen car. There are a few running around Stuttgart.
