Who says cleaning a car can't be a family affair
My 4 year old son saw me cleaning my wheels (Adams VRT dressing) and had to help. Good father/son moment. Had to share.

Our little girl is almost 3 and she is totally transfixed by what I'm doing when I'm detailing. Makes me smile every time! |

That's great! I wish I took a picture now, but last weekend I wanted to treat my top with 303 Aerospace and put on some of the vinyl "gill" decals and I asked my 12 year daughter if she wanted to stay in or come outside with me. She started with the "Gill" decals and did them all herself and then continued to help me roll the protectant onto the convertible top. I asked her why she choose to help with this stuff and she said, "Dad, I am 12 now and will be driving soon, I want to help you look after this car, so that me and the girls can cruise around town in the Camaro."....
I thought....not sure whether to be happy or scared!!! lol...actually thought it was a touching moment! |

Time definitely goes pretty fast. I think my son really likes to do stuff with me when it comes to the car. I really can't wait until he gets old enough that he can sit next to me in the car while I take it for a spin. I really think it would blow his mind. Until then I think I'll just enjoy these moments.
