sorry to go off topic but i was reading this article and found this very interesting:
FORD will offer a 2013 Mustang Roush package offering 3 stages(1,2,and 3) but the one that caught my attention is STAGE 3 saying -"Stage 3 puts a supercharged 5.0-liter V-8 rated for 565 hp and 505 lb-ft of torque under the hood. The forced induction comes courtesy of an R2300 supercharger featuring Eaton’s TVS (Twin Vortices Series) patented technology." That's One-Eyed Jack, tha Kat in the Hat, makin' some more GOLD by ruining a BOSS. Car will weigh almost the same as the ChiliWagon...why not save your dough and buy a Shyster...er...Shelby...

How long till the 2013's get tested, 4-5 months?

At least right now, there is some speculation, but after that, the only argument the 5th Gen will have left is "It looks better."

I've been watching bone-stock 2011-2012 GT500's on their stock tires run low-low 12's at 118-119 at Gaineville Raceway, so I've gotta think that the "driver's race" is against the 11-12 GT500 stock vs. stock. And these are real-world runs, not bench-racing as we're doing currently with the 2013.

And I HIGHLY DOUBT that Ford's claims for the 2013 Shelby is "Dearborn drivel"... Ford's been under-rating for years now, even the Ford GT was putting over 500hp to the rear wheels on Dynojets with a factory 550hp rating. I doubt they're going to put their foots in their mouths now..

...like they did a dozen years' ago...385 hp, many of which fled the shed...

And BTW, what was the GT's number @ VIR? 4/10ths on a Z06? TWICE the dough? Now THERE was some Ford Value...

You do realize this is 2012 correct?

You do also realize that the GM boys are the ones doing all the shit talking this go round correct?
