Are we neglecting our DD?

I really pamper my Camaro. It's 2 years old, has 4,500 miles on it, garage kept, and has never seen rain/snow. I wash it once a week and find myself always polishing it. I finally realized that I haven't waxed my DD, (2007 Ford Escape) in over a year. Anyone else feel like they're neglecting their daily driver?

I have a Honda Del Sol as a DD but I never drive it unless something is getting done to the Camaro... The Camaro is just to much fun to drive and it always turns heads.

This. She sees rain, she'll see snow, and I'll still wash and wax her constantly. She's my DD, and I'll drive her every single day I ever have a reason to get into a car. I'll pamper her, of course, but I won't spoil her. She's one hell of a car and my dream car (my affordable dream car), but she's still just a car.

I use my Camaro as my DD as well. I hate driving anything other than sports cars. I don't baby her totally but I take excellent care of her. Gotta drive her like she's meant to be driven.

Since I am in Michigan I drive a truck in the crap weather and the camaro in the summer/spring. However I know exactly what you are saying. I hadn't moved or even started the truck since Mid march. i drove it just recently to charge the battery etc and the brake rotors had so much rust on them, I didnt think I was ever going to be able to stop. LOL Ol reliable gets neglected in the fair weather. Just hope she doesn't take it personally and leave me stranded in 0 degree weather...
