There's probably not a single car I have fonder memories of than the '69 Camaro http://www.camaro5.com/forums/camaro...=view&id=19375

That is a very nice car. Glad it is black inside. I have a friend here where I live that has a 69 RS also. It is silver with black stripes black inside and is a auto trans. A/C also. He is trying to get me to buy it because he has found a black 69 camaro in texas he wants. He is asking me 34,500.00 for it but I do not know if that is a good price or not. I was thinking around 28-30 grand? He will not take less, I have really tried to get him to come off of the price but he won't. I do not think I want it so if someone is interested let me know and I will hook you up.

If the car is real nice it's probably worth what he's asking if not more. Hope someone grabs it up. Super nice 69's are hard to come by if they are right. No bondo to speak of and solid frame ...etc. My car has had alot of upgrades to its suspension and interior lighting. ( had all bulbs switched to led's) its nice and bright inside but looks original. Along with a few other things and more to come

Where did you get the LED's for all of the inside lights? I need those for my car. I just went to ebay and they have green bulbs, blue bulbs and white bulbs. Which ones did you put in your dash cluster? Looks like green?

Beautiful 69! I wish you the best with it. I'm working on mine now, still a long way to go.

I found two 69 here in San Diego over the weekend. They are both project cars one runs with an ok body, the other one has a blown engine, push rod went thru the oil pan, and in need of body work and a new paint job. I am weighing if its worth spending the money of 10-15K to restore one of them after the initial purchase. A crate motor runs around 5-6k which includes labor. Some times I think it better to buy a turn key car then going thru all the frustration.

A very nice 69 Camaro's here in California are very pricey.

To each there own as to which way to go

Since my last post on this thread my car has seen quite a few changes. I've had an LS1 w/ a mild cam dropped in. Along with a 4l60e and vintage air. All billet serpentine drive system, and billet hood hinges to match. Inside has had the seats re-covered with houndstooth inserts front and rear. We changed out the front seat belts to a standard 3 point setup. On the suspension we put on tubular control arms and added disc brakes to the back to match the front. Also had the car completely rewired from back to front as well. And to top it off I added a 2015 Z/28 #595 to keep the 69 company in the garage.
