Thanks for the info on the tire guys. I have had bad experiences at dealers whose techs don’t know how to use a Roadforce properly.

Tirerack lists road force capable shops on their site, not too many near Johnstown though

Thank You Jon, There is a local BMW dealer that has a RoadForce balancer, but they charge BMW prices, lol. The tire shop across the street has one too, but they won't touch my wheels, they are afraid they would damage them.

Exactly the Z/28 I would own, white, no a/c, no speakers and the Michelin PS4S tires. Would love to knock 300 lbs off that car, would be a killer on the street and run high 11's in the 1/4.

My installer just uses these prices as the installed price and prorates them if you don't use the full kit listed (like my hood, fender flares, rockers, and the back bumper... those are all part of larger kits)
http://www.xpel.com/paint-protection...let/Camaro/Z28

A full Z/28 based on this link is $7,170 + tax

Good Job ! I also did mine with XPEL Ultimate 11.5K miles ago. It is great protection. No dings or chips since then. I am very happy with it. Note: I also did my doors (door dings) and the first 4 or 5 inches of the front of my roof.

Note2: I have a heavy duty strong spray washer that I use on the Z/28 and when I first used it, I accidentally raised some edges on the XPEL. My installer fixed it for me. Easy fix. Since then, I use the lowest setting on the spray washer with no issues.

Nice, great for daily driving. Funny I don't have it on any of our daily drivers.

I don't daily the car or park it anywhere close to other cars and only hand wash the car. Holding up fine so far ~2,000 miles on it so far in dry weather.

True test will be in a few weeks, if we take it on a 1,400 mi trip.

If you figure out how to take 300lbs out of a Z without using a sawsall let us know.

We dropped about 200lbs with all carbon fiber panels except the metal rear quarters and plastic bumpers.
