Selling my 1LE
Hi all,
I am thinking hard about selling my car. I have two small kids and my wife won't let me put them in the back of it, so I need to get something with more space and a little more responsible. I'm getting an offer on trade-in of about $22,200, which is the Kelley blue book value, but Kelley blue book doesn't have the 1LE as an option in it. I'm wondering if I should be expecting to get more for the 1LE. It's a 2015 2SS 1LE in velvet blue metallic, with the RS package and the performance exhaust. Has about 7,500 miles on it. What do people think it would be worth to sell it privately? I don't think I want to go through the hassle of doing that, but if it should be worth substantially more, then I would consider it. Thanks! |

Hmm - nearest one is 100 miles away. Are there any other companies like that - perhaps that have a presence on Long Island? And thanks! That's an interesting idea. I'll do some digging too.

I think high 20's to low 30's for a private sale is in the ballpark for a low mileage one owner 1le. But with that said I've seen some low mileage Zl1's sell stupid cheap and base SS models sell for close to $30,000. Idk I still don't get the market on these 5th gen Camaros.

Have you tried posting it in the for sale section here ? I would start at $29000.00 and see where it go's . IMHO it is a good deal for the seller and buyer at $26500.00.

I have seen multiple 14/15 1LE's go for 26/27k with 30,000-45,000 miles in the Tampa area. Don't let them rip you a knew one and sell privately for at least 28k, gl!

Post good pictures of it on the forums in a sale thread, with that color combo you'll easily get 25k. I'd ask 27 OBO

I agree with this, there's no way I would take less than $26.5 for it. Hell, anything under $28k is a great deal. That's what I paid for my '14 w/ 15k back in Jan. and I thought that was a steal. The '14/'15 1LE's in blue are extremely rare, so they tend to bring in more money as well. I had a hell of time finding a blue 2SS 1LE under $30k, however the other colors were fairly easy to find for around $26-27k.

With that low mileage I'd pay 30k if it was "new" clean.... like really clean...

$22K is ridiculously off for a low mile BVM 1LE, the $26-$29K range mentioned is the targeted fair money depending on options. Do you realize how few Blue Velets were produced, man you have a piece there. Someone is going to get a nice car if you decide to sell.

BTW. Not sure if I'm giving well know info or not, but they only made 85 Blue Velvet Metallic 1LE's.
http://***********.com/1le-specs-2015.php Also, I got mine for 27,500 last year with 8K on it... And mine's a 1SS RS NPP car. |

I think the "performance pkg" on KBB is the 1LE pkg
