Glad to meet you this evening John and to see your White Camaro SS. Was hoping to see and meet more folks this evening at Checkers on US19N in Palm Harbor.

Ahh, the car that I thought moved into the neighborhood was just a demo a dealer was bringing home for the weekend. I did however today see a nice Yellow one with hockey stripes on I-275. We each pointed to each other..laugh.

I'm not sure if anyone is still checking this thread or not. I was wondering where you all get your car washed/detailed. I plan on doing it myself at a later date but will be leaving town shortly and would like to get a good base detail before I go.

I wash my cars myself also. I'm the only one I trust. Besides, it would take too long to give instructions on how I want it done. And then I would need to supervise the work. My wife had her car done a few times, but she got tired of see the excess tire dressing on the side of the car when she got home. As they say, if you want a job done right, do it yourself.

I live in an apartment complex with no car care station, so I just take all my supplies (I'm using Turtle Wax ICE stuff now) to a local car wash station and wash it myself. I only use the water sprayer at the station, NOT that foaming brush.

I just go up to the car care center at SR 54 near Virginia City, just west of Dairy Queen.

I like the Turtle Ice Interior. Eagle One Wet Tire Shine works great. It looks great and does not sling off the tires onto the car! In addition to a good coat of wax, Bugs B Gone makes Love Bug removal relativly easy. I hate Love Bugs! But then again, who dosen't.
