No.. they should just slide over the top and the cap secures them down. I sure hope they are not 5 bucks per wheel. |

Actually they are threaded and you screw them on. An 11 mm open or closed end wrench will loosen them enough where you can unscrew the oe sleeve by hand. Just he opposite on install. I just snugged them a hair with the wrench.

I just changed my wheels to black. Thought maybe there where black TPMS valve stems for the black wheels but I guess not? think i will just paint them with touch up paint.
