No, just had the one turned.

Caked on pad isn't the rotors fault it's the pads fault for exceeding it's temp rating. Once the pads are overheated the heat generated by additional stopping attempts will increase at a much greater than linear rate and rotor failure is the unintended consequence. A lot of people use XR1 pads on stock rotors with no issues. My next set will again be stock.

The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same.
Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different.
I can't wait for my next
Track fix.

The DTC30s are not enough pad for the speed and mass of a 5th Gen Camaro on a road course. DTC60 up front and 30 in the rear are ok, but not for high speed courses i.e. long straights. The best pads for the 5th Gen at Cobalt Friction XR1 front and XR3 rear. You'll never see melted pad on your rotors again.

Yeah mine only lasted 1 day. My rotors survived because it was only a single day event and i resurfaced and upgraded pads before the next track day. Cobalt friction and ducts is the way to go.

Well guys, I decided to take Pete's sage advice. Ordered Quantum brake duct kit, OEM rotors, caliper mounting bolts & Cobalt Friction pads. Blew up the track budget, I guess I'll have to put off the CTS-V brake up-grade for a year. Thanks Guys, especially Pete! Hoping to get back on the track in September!

Cobalt Friction pads work the best of any brake pad I have used, but if your wheels get wet, never, ever let the wheel dry without wiping all brake dust off or they will damage your wheel finish.

Its cooked into my calipers and wheel centers from liquifying the powdercoat. At least when yellow powdercoat yellows its still yellow. So I got that going for me...
