I didn't put neons in it. LOL. Just making it look more like the concept Camaro's lighting. Its cool though everyone likes something different.

So GM went ricer when they started adding ABL to their vehicles? The door ABL came standard in my 2ss. I can turn it off if I want to. It looks unfinished without having the dash light up as well. These folks are just trying to find a practical way to make it look better. I think FIREWOLFF nailed the look of the concept car. It looks cool as hell. To each their own I guess.

So GM made a ricer? With Abient lighting? Is having hid lights with halos also euro crap since its not halogen?
Everyone is entiteled to their own opinion but ranting isnt right. Why are you even reading this thread.
Keep up the good work Firewolf, btw how much light tape is needed to do the entire set up, about 90 inches or so?

16ft total for doors and dash. Thats giving you a few spare inches to work with. Each door was a tad over 72 inches used to light up all the way around.

Hey its great if thats what you like. I just think is is kinda sad to see all the changes people making to the camaro. GM brought back a car that is about muscle born in the 60s. It seems everywhere you look the kids from the fast and furious days and people who are into transformers think its cool to get a reborn american muscle car and rice it out. Dont bash me because i like to stick to the roots my car is 427 powered and SS emblem delete sleeper.

No buzzing sound. They use this for airport runway lights, business signs, club lighting and many more none of these guys would use it if you had to replace it every few years. The only suggestion would be use external grade so that it resists moisture and will not come apart. The interior light tape has just basic laminate over it and it will peel after time in an environment that has a lot of moisture.
