But honestly, drove it a couple times after the install and it is great.
I can vouch that it looks beautiful! We went for a drive on Tuesday and I was in heaven hearing that beast!

did you leave the stock tune? I just got one and haven't installed it yet. Will do this weekend.

I love how it looks installed

looks great man! How much did it run you? And will rain sneak into it from the hood vents or the side, or is it well protected?

It comes with the MAFS bolted on. No tune for me, just disconnected the battery, replaced my CAI with the Z28 and reconnected. I'm not aware of any tuning that's necessary after this upgrade.

As for rain, seals perfectly under the hood. You should not have any issues. Jegs.com shipped it to my house for $402 total.

Looks great and it's an OEM part so you know it will fit and function.

Amazon.com sells the replacement filter for $60.11 with Prime (free shipping). HOWEVER- says it ships in 1-2 MONTHS. Hmmm.

Summit sells them for $77.97.

Rockauto.com shows around 83.00 shipped to your door.

So you don't have to break the bank buying the replacement filter from your GM dealer.

ACDelco p/n A3194C, GM p/n 23164564

Same part either way.

When I buy the setup I might buy a spare filter and just let it hang out in the garage.
