Watched a dealer drop a non RS/2SS from $52K to $46K cause its sitting for the last 2 months. They also received another loaded SS. They just stuck it inthe showroom to prepare for its lengthy stay..... Kick me in the berrries if you want. But the all glass roof on the Stang is looking pretty good! Also licked the handles on a new Shelby........Why should the Camaro fans consistently put up with less than stellar performance? If anyone.......I mean anyone has a line on a Cyber Gray 2SS with IO interior........Hook me up! I will still keep the faith!
Not sure what thendetails are, but here ya go. It took me 30 seconds. It may not be the exact car, details are sketchy.

The whole "hard-to-find" game is over.
The fact that there is a long wait is proof that some people are willing to wait! If you really want something, you'll wait for it, or you didn't really want it in the first place. The key to a successful company is not to alienate customers. If GM stops making Equinoxes and Malibus, they just lost a bunch of the average American family buyers. GM sold 118,744 vehicles in August (link). If you click on the link, you'll notice that the models you suggested they stop building are actually selling decently compared to the rest of the fleet. They are hardly playing a hard-to-find game cranking out over 450 a day and working 6 days a week at it, plus cancelling a vacation week in the process.

I think I will be in the same boat for sure. I haven't even ordered mine yet. I am still going back and forth between 1SS and 2SS. I just don't know if I want the leather and gauges enough to spend an extra $3K. I will most likely buy the gauges for $450, but the leather and heated seats is just not worth $2500 to me so I think I am knocking my options back down to 1SS/RS with a sunroof.
Comes to $33,095 with destination charge.

This is only reinforcement of how ludicrous the allocation system is. Allocations should be used for putting vehicles on a dealer's lot... not for custom orders. I know of two people who have already canceled their Camaro orders and plan to wait until they become available.

While that sounds like GM is going to get a sale either way... you're letting customers think about their decision (which is never a good thing). It's a risk... a $20,000 - $40,000 risk for each individual who is stuck in this ridiculous allocation crap.
