Crazy awesome!

As long as you are aware of the costs of general maintenance of one and it fits your budget. I imagine tires aren't cheap or the longest lasting. Brakes aren't cheap lol. Gas will be worse than a standard SS. As long as youre ok with it you'll have a badass daily.

Also... How long is your daily commute?

Maintenance costs are not really an issue, I was planning on switching the F1 tires out for an all season tire, I like the Continental DWS extreme contact I have on my SS now and I can get them in the sizes for the ZL1.

Brake Pads and rotors I can get from a GM supplier contact I still have in Detroit.

My commute? hmmm.... I don't really have a set daily commute. I do drive to our plants in Lexington, KY and Rochester Hills, MI from time to time. I also drive to ATL airport every two weeks. lets just say I've put 51k on my SS in the last 25 months.

I'm really on the fence with this. I want the car but at the same time I want to wait and see what the next gen Camaro has to offer.

I have till the end of next week to decide, then the dealer is going to dealer trade it, I'll let ya'll know which way I go with it.

There's a few ZL1s for sale in the classifieds that aren't bad deals. 580HP has a convertible and is in Canton if you wanted to go that route. I think a ZL1 would be a badass daily driver. I would do the same if I could justify a $900 a month car payment lol
