Angry Where is the thermostat located on a 2012 v6

My camaro is overheating and the heater only blows cold air in the car!!

sounds like an air pocket, did you check with the dealer?

No haven't contacted the dealer. The car was in a accident and have a savage title I think that voids my warranty.

Don't know if that will matter much, but if the car has under 36k miles, it's def worth a shot to have the dealer look at it. Just DON'T tell them about the car being totalled.

Thermostat connects to the radiator outlet pipe. Judging by my picture it's on the passenger side of the engine. Just follow the radiator hose, to the pipe, to the thermostat housing.

Not recomended. Our engine likes to run hot and preferably with COLD air.

Toocool5,

I flushed the cooling system to remove the air out if any was there but im still have no heat. i tryed to flush the heater core 2 see if maybe there was a clogg but nothing. when i took the heater core hoses off i notice that they were dry it didnt look like any coolant was getting to the heater core.
