Shark fin and brake light... seems to be the biggest complaint. Solution: Incorporate the third brake light into the spoiler and do the same with the shark fin using a tapered center section. I am drafting up some concepts now. GM show me the money honey, and I will send you my prototype drawings!

The sculpture of the Gen5 Camaro is lost in the convertible. Not having the roof hurts the overall look. We know how bad convertible's look with the roof up.

I'm sorry but I'm disappointed. I'm not a Mustang fan, but their convertible looks great. I'm glad I'm ording a 2011 Camaro coupe in a few weeks. I don't think the convertible is going to be the desirable car (high value) 20 years from now.

Now a factory T-TOP would be a different story, but I don't think there's enough model years left on this platform for GM to pursue it. They should build the next generation with that in mind.

Wonder if that is going to be a new spoiler for 2012? If so, I definitely prefer the 2010-2011 version.

Anybody got a clue as to where this "back roads testing" is taking place? Noticed the Michigan plate, loaded the camera in the SS and I'm on the prowl for my own close up!

I like it! I think it looks real good- top down. Too bad it makes me vomit with the top up...

Yes, I believe that is the VCE in passenger seat. Can't tell who the driver is.

For those that don't like the shark fin, what do you suggest? Give GM a location that would make you happy. But as the base car has a shark fin, the convertible will get one as well.

The Corvette convertible doesn't have one because the coupe doesn't have one. There really isn't a good place to put a shark fin on the Corvette Coupe. On the hatch? No room. On the roof bow? Not there either so the OSRVM was the choice..........an expensive choice btw.

Creating multiple solutions for the same part is harder for the assembly plant as well.
