PS- this wait is rediculous! Kills me that I preordered in Nov, and im lookin (at best right now) at a 2/7 TPW... meanwhile newer orders are passing me. Worst part is, it was 75 here in S Florida today, PERFECT vert weather, yet these first production.cars are probably going to Maine, N Dakota, Minnestoa etc to sit in storage for 4 more months! June-Aug is almost too hot here for Verts... probably get mine delivered just in time to put the top UP and test the A/C!!

Totally with you Drago77! Winter is top-down time in Tucson. By the time I get mine, I'll be worried about sun-fade in the 110 degrees. I'm holding out hope that we stay at 2/7.

Yes it was. I feel extremely lucky to find these at that price. I'm pretty sure everything was all legit, but did wonder in the Po po was going to show up on my doorstep with a search warrant Now for the body work on everything.

My body shop guy just called me with a quote of $1800 to $2000 for painting, BUT this was for GFX, front heritage grill, hood, strips and shall we say "a few DELETES" Can't wait until everything is done. You think waiting for the vert is hard, try imagining finally getting it, then sending it away again for a couple of weeks for mods! Don't know if my heart (or wallet) will be able to take much more.

PS Seen D-77 picked up the SLP 5 spokes. Thought about it...breifly; Can't wait to see them on your vert. I personally had some take off's real chromed (I'm old school; and old) and they look fantastic.......on my living room floor!

Since I moved back to 3000 and got the TPW of 2/7, I have not moved forward.

11/19/2010 - (1100) Order Placed at Dealership Order passed GM edit tables but dealers has not received allocation to place order
11/19/2010 - (1102) Order Entered via Web
11/24/2010 - (2030) Order edited or modified
12/03/2010 - (2000) Order Accepted by GM Dealer used allocation to place order into production
12/07/2010 - (2500) Order Preferenced Order pulled to the production system
12/08/2010 - (3000) Order accepted by production control. Parts being ordered and production process is underway.
12/13/2010 - (2000) Order Accepted by GM Dealer used allocation to place order into production
12/15/2010 - (2500) Order Preferenced Order pulled to the production system
12/15/2010 - (3000) Order accepted by production control. Parts being ordered and production process is underway.

What the hell do you mean "again" I've been slow stroking ever since my 12-15-10 3000 status! I figure if I get drunk enough on the weekends it'll only seem like 6 days till TPW

"Again" cuz, I was there in late Dec, along w a few other ppl who ordered in early Nov w a TPW or 1/11, then week prior, went to 3400... suddenly, without explanation, we dropped back to.3000 w a Feb TPW... and if it happens again...

Yeah. I know all about it. I should've been a 1-11-11 TPW, but had to switch to my backup ordering plan (don't really regret it). I'm sure it's all those Neiman Marcus, Indy 500, and foreign show verts holding up the show

I tried to make sence out of the ordering/status preferencing; some early productions ordered after our's may have been LT models etc., but There were some that were 2SS's and were even produced for the northern regions. I have no idea how they decide or determine status or TPW I can't really drive it yet anyway (unlike yourself) as it's too fricken cold. BUT, I do have about 3 weeks of mod down time after I take delivery. I'll all be good in the end.

3300 (again))... fingers crossed... hoping its not just another cruel trick, lol!
