Thank you for finally answering this important question.....

Myself and a few others I know will be buying this from you,but only after you make it work in the ACC position.

I'm sure you will sell many, many more this way...we all know it is not good to have the coils energized without the engine running for any length of time along with lots of other things

Please keep us posted.

Got my switch installed (yea getting the pins out was a 2 hour Pain in the A**), but everything fit nicely in the end. I took the car to the drags with 94-97 degree temps and with the switch combined with 160* thermostat, the car came off the line at 170* every time producing four consistent runs 13.26, 13.32, 13.33 and 13.26. The times closely correlated with late afternoon too early evening changes in DA. No more sudden .2 second slow downs due to knock sensor timing retard when the motor temps climb to 195. I consider this a must have item for backet racers.

We're about to start offering these for other popular platforms as well, since the ones for the 5th gens have been such a hit. Stay tuned!

Whats wrong with leaving the key on and keeping the coils energized?

Has anyone gotten one of these hooked up to the accessory key position? I'd like to order one of these but don't want to be running my Squash fuel pumps all the time while cooling.

Should just be a simple relay power source relocation right? Think I'll go ahead and order one now.

I'm hoping this will be an easy way to push cool air across the intercooler and charge tube to help eliminate heat soak.

So, I finally installed mine. Man! Those pins are a b!tch! I used .039" music wire, much stiffer than paper clips, worked great!

Still would like an option of ignition key acc position for the switch to operate the fans. I have aftermarket fuel pumps that run all the time in key on position. Any options?

I'm pretty sure the switch works by completing the ground signal to the relay. Don't know what you'd have to get into for a separate hot source. That's when you worry about frying stuff.
