Trans tune
Ran the 22 SS a10 with my drag pack on it for the first time today
Very hot with a 10mph head wind. 2800ft da. Humid 83.8 grains. Leaving off idle.(I thought that’s how you’re supposed to leave with the a8 and not sure if the a10 is the same) 1.74 60ft 11.90 117.8 Lt2 intake 95mm tb Rotofab dry E60 28” et street r What do you think a trans tune will do for me? I can’t believe how bad the 60ft turned out. I can 60 better with the manual

Yeah a10 tq management NO LIKE anything above idle. Just hold brake and swap feet. Once you get a trans tune, then you can play with launches but stock you will just short shift and trans TQ management will cut your nuts off.

Who did the ECM tune? You’re not making much more power than stock based on your trap speed. On a similar day my car trapped 116 bone stock down to the paper air filter and with your mods I’d definitely expect more out of the trap speed. Just my 2 cents but thought that was curious.

That’s what I’m thinking as well. I did the ecm tune as I did on my car.
Timing looked good. No knock. Throttle was open the whole time. Fueling was good. Still not making up for a lot but the car had 3/4 tank of fuel.

Run about 1/8 of a tank of gas, take the back seat out and run in better DA, my car set up like yours, same rear tire etc, but with opened up stock air box and moded 87 mm TB to an effective 91 mm is the only difference and I have gotten 1.67 and 1.68 60 ft times stomping on the gas from a dead idle in 1000 to 1500 DA 11.44@122 mph. With skinnies and 48 lb front seat out and 2 gallons more fuel 11.34 @123.6 mph

yeah that's odd. i watched a 21 10 spd LT1 car on mt ss go 12.0 @ 117 bone stock. same day i was at the track.
id expect the a10 ss car to be a little faster than your m6 1LE car.

Just pulled the manifold off my car and threw it on the a10 to make sure they’re moving the same air.

On my 2022 Lt1 with Maggie 2300 and Toohighpsi port injection on E65 I picked up just about a 1/10 on the big pulley from 10.00@140 to 9.89@141 just on the trans tune change which is not aggressive at all. I should have picked up the same on my smaller pulley but spun the tires just a little, I had run 9.86@142, I ran 9.80@142.96 and I believe I could have run 9.75@143 if it hadn't spun on a not so great track. They sprayed the track but couldn't drag it as the PTO was broken on the tractor they use to drag it. I think you can expect a 1/10 with a simple trans tune just removing some TQ Management, just don't be to aggressive on the tune and remove too much as it may cause the trans to slip.

Thanks for the responses.
The manifolds seem to be performing similarly. Not really sure where to look next, I am installing the Wideband and will redo the maf curve and pe tables

Car was doing 28-29* timing. I still use the humidity tables so it usually does just over 26* in mineshaft air and just shy of 29* on days like today. IAT multipliers are minimized on E I also have the COT setup to not turn on over e35. I have to log this next time and make sure it’s not kicking in.
