rims/audio advice

So I'm going in today to order and I'm having some last minute undecided-ness I'm not sure if I want to go with the polished RS rims or the normal midnight silver ones. Also not sure if I wanna upgrade to the Boston sound system (ordering a 1LT/RS CGM). Anyone have any good pics or insight on the rims/is the Boston system worth getting over the stock speakers?

In my opinion the Midnight silver goes better with CGM...thats the combo on my car and i've seen both in person...As far as the sound i haven't heard the stock, only the boston upgrade so i can't help you much there other than to say the boston upgrade sounds great. I'll be adding a subwoofer to mine to round out the lows.

yes, you need rims. polished or midnight silver - your choice.

sound system?? you have to go with the BA upgrade. it met all of my expectations; however, I'm considering having a set of enclosures built and installed over the rear deck speakers to protect them and give a bit more depth (I hope).

Save your money on the polished wheels, there's not much difference between the two. I believe the Midnight Silver wheels will be easier to keep clean, since the inside of the wheel is painted a darker color and won't show dirt as bad. Definately updrade to the Boston Acoutics sound system. Hope this helps...

I like the polished wheels, painted wheels you have to worry about scratches and nicks, something to think about. As far as the radio I have only listened to the BA.

Wouldn't an after-market speaker system be better for equal price?

ordered it today! went with the standard midnight silver rims and I did get the Boston sound system. I would have went with an aftermarket system, but Ive heard horror stories of trying to install them with onstar.
