It will take an engineering marvel to bring out a 600 HP NA engine that meets emission standards, but GM may just be able to pull it off.

TOP GEAR UK WITHOUT JEREMY?!

IMO he was the show. It centered on him as Hamster and James revolved around him like the sun. Without his egotistical, self-centered rants and dry English humor IT'S DONE!!! It will turn into the American or Australian versions, YUCK!

I disagree. No matter what happens to the show, firing him was the right move.

The show is done. James in an interview today said they (the 3 of them) are a package. Even if May and Hamster continued it'd die.

I'm hearing rumors, maybe a Netflix show. Hmmmmm, maybe this was just a publicity stunt...

The BBC simply couldn't keep him after what he did. You can't attack and physically assault a co worker (superior or subordinate). You and I can't do that without consequences and neither can he. Essentially he broke the law and in theory could still be prosecuted for that. It's a mess.........................and supposedly over not having hot food available. That's EGO. And although I agree it was entertaining, the BBC couldn't keep him simply for the sake of the message. It could likely even make the BBC liable for creating and enabling a hostile work environment which is another lawsuit all together.

Too bad, maybe the US version will hire them. Now that's an idea. America............home of the second chance. Oh but bashing American cars here wouldn't play very well.

I agree with you on that. My dad runs a small business and the liability of keeping someone like him around is huge.

It seems most people don't care that he bashes American cars. The show is pretty popular here.

Big shots picking on regular people are something I cannot tolerate. After Theresa Heinz berated a media person I won't allow a Heinz product in my home. If the media reports are accurate, this was a temper tantrum brought on by a sandwich instead of a steak. Clarkson then took it out on the producer. I don't care what show he lands I, I won't watch it.

That's cool. It is always cool when a little guy like me picks on a big dog like you. Besides, I love you like a brother. We're family.

she's married to mashed potato face what do you expect? I think "most" media should be berated for lacking any real journalism.
