Just came back from Universal yesterday, there was a dude with Military (N.E.S.T.) attire in front of the Ride entrance and decided to see if I could squeeze out any info. The guy said he is not sure about the date of the actual grand opening, but said it would be in the 3rd week of May, which falls exactly with the acclaimed day of May 25th. So far I think the ride is ready to go, looks awesome from the outside.

YOU CAN COUNT ME IN ON THIS! Camaro5 time to mobilize!!

Yep, it's the second or third week of May from what I've been told. The employee rides have already been given and people loved it. Now, the opening is in May as we know, but the press event won't be held until a few months after. That's where the cool stuff happens usually.

So, I've been told the opening day for the public is May 18th. That doesn't mean the Camaro's will included though because it's so close to opening and they will have there own plans for right now.
