It was directed by Joss Whedon.... what more reason does one need to see it five times?

Saw it over the weekend and it was GREAT!! .. I can't wait either as Thanos is one of my favorites of all time .. It will be cool to see what they have planned with him as there is SO much they can do.

I don't believe it's available as just IMAX, it's only IMAX 3D. It was not filmed in 3D so only go see it in 3D if you really enjoy that kind of experience. I saw the 3D version out of necessity: every other showing in 2D was sold out. I'm a fan of 3D though, so I'm a bit biased. But even as a converted movie I'd say it was done really well and worth the extra price if you're a fan of 3D.

Just to clarify:

IMAX - huge screen, true IMAX is 40' or taller, edge to edge picture
IMAX 3D - usually normal size movie, but using IMAX 3D projector technology
RealD & Dolby 3D - Newer 3D technologies, slightly less color and depth but better clarity than IMAX 3D

But the movie itself is awesome no matter which way you see it! Excellent plot and character development, great special effects and cinematics, crazy awesome action and fight scenes! Move over Michael Bay, there's a new city destroying director in town and his movies have deep character plots! Maybe we can convince Paramount to get Joss Whedon for Transformers 4!

Wait, so there's even MORE after ALL the credits roll? Or was the revelation of Thanos "it"?

Saw it, Loved it! I didn't think they were going to be able to pull Hulk off, but in my opinion he made the final fight scene.

A+.
