Nice day

I guess with the weather being so nice. My baby deserves a nice wash. Then a "little run" to get the excess water off....

I wish we could get "some" of your rain, our roads need to be washed from the winter salt residue.

p.s. Nice looking car

Steve,
That was just drizzle, I want good steady rain.
I'm sure the great clean dry weather will be upon us soon so we can enjoy our cars.

Just drizzle, we had a hard steady rain for about 2 hours. The roads should be perfect to get the bikes out on Sunday unless the NOTL roads department felt it was necessary to lay down some sand/salt for the 1/4" of snow we had this morning.

BTW, I haven't put my Camaro back on the road yet since I'm having surgery this month and I'm not sure when I'll be able to get behind the wheel. I did drive it up and down the driveway numerous times on Wednesday.

So took the car out to get her washed, she was quite dirty.
Prewashed her by hand quickly before going to the touchless. Go to the touchless and then dry the car by hand afterwards.
Tell me how as soon as I wiped the last drop off of her, it starts snowing like a blizzard! My fault, picked a fight with the weather today and the weather won. Knew it was going to snow but figured I had a big enough window. Sure enough on the drive home the sun comes out, look at the car and shes still pretty damn clean. She will get a nice full handwash on Sunday.

Anyone have any good tips on washing the undercarriage? The car wash gives you about 15 seconds. I want to really wash it good

Hey Dennis,

I would buy 3 or 4 of the cheapest touchless washes and run it through repeatedly.

If it is as nice tomorrow as they are predicting, I might have to take NITRO out from under wraps and give him the once over.

I'm still not sold on those touchless washes, I think they'd be too harsh on our cars especially the stripes. I took my truck through one, years back, and didn't like it. Try a power washer, at least you have more control over that, just my opinion.

Now down to business, Matt
Take Nitro out for a once over? The roads are still lousy and dirty, unless you plan on wrapping him up again after the once over

I'm very tempted too, but in reality, I'll hold off for a while yet, and hope when she comes out from under the wraps, she'll be ready for the once over & go.
