adding GM sub box ?
Hey guys, i bought the GM MTX sub box off a guy on craigslist today for $175, were is the harness to plug it in? or do i have to buy something else?

It's included in the kit upon purchase. I haven't seen a seperate part number. You may end up having to create your own or modify a different part.
Possibly Steve @ ******** can work out something. |

anyone know how to wire it direct? it has a 12Ga pos and neg but there are 4 other wires that i was assuming were for speakers but then were is the remote wire..or if anyone can tell me were the connector is that it plugs into i can possibly make a harness..

my understanding is that you have to use the GM harness. There is a post on here somewhere with the part number for just the harness, but it's like $250. I could have bought a box for $50 locally, but with no harness, what's the point.

Call MTX. I went through this with the one I sold. Pain in the ass but they sent me one for free because I wouldn't stop calling them. They will tell you that they can't sell it to you because of some GM BS. I guess they make them just for GM. Again it is a pain in the ass but you can get it. It took about a week to finally get a answer but I got it. Good luck!!
