Got the new fender and front bumper cover on. Also put the hood hinges back on. Picked up another set of aerocatch hood pins for the hood as well. Hoping to buy the hood next.

Just need to debadge the fender yet. Also ordered a set of oem fog light delete covers for it.

Well I threw the factory hood back on it to get some more accurate measurements for a hood. Unfortunately the only hood on the market that will clear it is the pin on "wide sunoco" and I really don't want another pin on hood.

Decided to get a fiberglass scoop and have it molded into the factory hood. Ordered the scoop from upp, its a 5" sunoco scoop.

Also ordered the front wheels and was told I'd have them by the end of the week! Still waiting to hear back on a day for tuning.

Got the wheels today, ordered a set of race ramps after talking about it for like 2 years now. No more jacking up the tongue of the trailer lol.

2-4 weeks is the time frame given on the scoop. Gonna mount the pins and cut the holes for the downpipe/wastegate this weekend.

Wheels didn't come with center caps so ill order those and another case of oil. Looks like I'll get everything but the hood done before tuning. I'll just rock the big ass hole for now lol

Ordered the center caps, didn't know the wheels didn't come with them. Pic of one wheel for fitment and the other side is the poverty star. Its a solid 3+" further under the car. Got some moroso ds-2 front tires coming

Cut the hole for the downpipe, need to cut for wastegate but undecided if I wanna take it out where I was planning on or take it further over. Thinking I need to extend the downpipe further up and out of the hood a bit.

Got them all mounted, just waiting on center caps. Getting real close now

Got both wheels all mounted up, decided to have the wastegate extended so I don't have to cut another hole. Already scheduled fab shop time for that next week. Hood scoop will be here Wednesday so hood will be taken to them while it's at the fab shop. Should be done around the same time

Got the hood pins installed and the tuner connected via TeamViewer to get a decent base tune started. Unfortunately the o2 sensor took a crap and reads 12.1 at all times now. So going to change the sensor and get a new set of plugs and we will resume the remote tuning before taking it over to the dyno. Gonna give big 3 racing a shot at tuning it as I can't seem to get the owner of the track to do it

Did some more remote tuning yesterday. The car is now ready for the dyno. Scheduled for the 21st of this month.

Got 2 sets of 10 heat range plugs coming for it.

New issue has arose that the volvo pump doesn't want to run with the 16v setup but connected to a 12v battery it will run. So trying to figure out a way to step down voltage to it using a resistor/shunt

Edit- measured amp draw while the pump was running and at full lock. Surprised to see it was only 1.3 amps while not touching the wheel, and just under 15 amps with the wheel at full lock. Ordered the xs power step down box which is advertised to drop voltage 3.6 volts and be rated at 25amp continuous and 50amp max.

Also gave it a bath. Definitely need to powdercoat at least the rear wheel drums black.

Got the oil changed, step down box in, and verified timing again. Taking the car tomorrow to get the hood, wastgate, and downpipe done. Also taking my old heads from the last motor to have the 12an bungs welded shut to use on the next project.

T minus 9 days for tuning

Edit: I noticed when I went to move the car car there was a small puddle under the regulator. Its coming out of the stud for pressure adjustment. There should be no fuel on that side of the diaphragm. So that is torn and pushing/sucking fuel into the intake through the reference line.

Luckily I caught it with enough time to fix it before the dyno day. Replacing the aeromotive 13134 with an aeromotive 13132 regulator.

T minus 8 days for tuning

Very eventful day. Went and picked the car up, about 3 hours round trip, changed regulator out and realized it ruined another ntk sensor. Ran to jegs and picked up another, another 3 hours round trip.

Swapped that out, swapped my old rear wheels/tires on to not ruin the new tires on the dyno. Had to add a bit of fuel to the base map to get it to idle which is definitely a good thing.

Changed the oil yet again and let it run for about 5 min with the breathers off to help get all that methanol residue out of the oil. All strapped down and on the trailer ready for Wednesday! Wish me luck guys!
