Stabilitrak turning on when temperature below 20

My 2011 Camaro goes into the service stabilitrak mode every time the temperature drops below 20F. After a few cold days in a row, the engine light goes on with the throttle position codes. I did replace the pedal with the sensor but there was no change. Then, the winter was over and I cleared the codes. I drove the car for 9 months with no problem. Back to winter, and also back to stabilitrak. Any ideas? I know for sure it's not the throttle sensor. I replaced that one. My dealer is clueless.

Battery?
Does it clear after the motor runs a bit?

How old is your battery?

Maybe it is the motor on the side of your throttle body which moves the plate.

Battery efficiency drops in cold weather and I have experienced codes with a weak battery, might be worth checking or changing it.

The battery is the original one (8 years old).

It clears out after the temperature goes up, like 20F in the morning, it comes on, 30F at lunch time it goes off.

That battery is due for replacement just by age alone.

I know it sounds crazy but what conditions are your tires in? I've seen Stablitrack come up if your tires are worn out unevenly. Cold conditions might exacerbate the problem if tire pressure if off.

The tires are like new. Less than 10K miles, rated for 60K miles.

Based on the age of your battery, chances are that's the only problem. Certainly an 8 year old battery doesn't owe you anything; time for a new one. In fact, 8 years is exceptionally good.

I replaced mine after 7 years for peace of mind. My Camaro was used mostly for long drives and kept on a battery tender over the Winter.

But on grocery getters, I have had batteries die after 4 or 5 years. In a couple of late model GMcars, the Stabilitrac light has been my first warning sign.

This.

Check other threads. The stabilitrak warning is the first sign the battery is ready to be replaced. I got the warning a few times in cold weather too, but when I got it in warmer weather I headed right out for a new battery.

I had the battery replaced this morning. The stabilitrak is back on tonight (15F) with a brand new battery. Any other ideas?

Update
Stabilitrak at cold temperatures followed by the following 4 codes:
U2100 CAN Bus Communication
C0242 Engine Control Module Indicated Traction Control
P0121 Throttle/Pedal position sensor & circuit Range/Performance
P2176 Throttle Actuator control System-Idle Position Not learned

Spring in NY. No Stabilitrak for the last month. Problem solved till November.

My 2012 does something similar - cold and wet (under around 40 or so), warning comes on. Warm day, nothing. Seems very finicky.
