I have nvr parked mine in a regular spot next to other cars. I park far out and always pull straight thru and if the parking lot wont allow this I just dont do business w them. Its funny u bring this up cuz I drove my moms grand prix today and I noticed that my parking seemed off when parking next to cars. I guess cuz its been so long it took some practice, lol.

I've never driven a car as hard to park as the 5th gen Camaro. The visibility is just so bad. Even after owning it for over a year I often had to hop out to double-check that I was where I wanted to be in a space. My Tahoe is far easier to park.

Everyone wants to do this, but it's too risky. Good luck.

I park as far away as possible too. If I can take two spots I do. Or 4 at Wal-Mart because last time I parked in two, and the mirror still got hit. Took all the paint off, so now I have a big black stripe on a white mirror. ugh!

I feel like backing in would be even harder because I can't see anything out the trunk so I have NO idea where the bumper is.

I know that I cant seem to park at all anymore. Almost every time I get out of the car I look at the parking job I did and saw "wow, not even close to where I though I was"...

oh well...

I go slowly until I hear 2 beeps on the backup sensor and stop and it's usually about perfect.

I find these topics somewhat , just for reasons as stated above. Usually, I am finding that the more a person 'tries' to 'protect' their car (Or stuff in general) from crap happening....the more that person will have 'crap' happen to their car. Murphy's law...or something like that. Or, another good one is that someone will be so 'anal' (no offense to anyone) as to park far away from the door of a business or take up 2 spots, that when leaving the parking lot or getting a couple blocks from home, they will be involved in an accident or in some instances, will have vandalism occur. I dunno, jmo.
