When it was unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show in 2006 i knew it would be next car. Later that year i started plotting on colors when it announced it was going into production

My first choice was and will always be a matching # '69 Camaro SS/RS. My 2010 real nice though for a second choice.

I was all but sold on a new 370z. Then I decided to start looking at the Camaro again. Went to a Nissan dealership to see a new 370z and feel in love with it, but wasn't ready to commit.
The first week or so that they started delivering the Camaros, a colleague from work showed up in his. I knew at that moment, that was the car I wanted. Went to the Chevy dealership that weekend and put in my order. Will my next car be a Chevy or Camaro. I don't know. If they make another head turner, I'm sure it will be!! Settle? No.

I never settled. The Camaro was always my main choice. The only decision was V6 or V8, and once I got the job I wanted, that was that.

Actually....no
I was looking more into buying bmw 335i, z4 35si, porsche cayman, corvette c6 Then I heard the camaro was going to be launched in europe and immediately ordered it when they started taking orders for it. It's very competitively priced compared to german rivals and I'm a sucker for v8s

I've always liked corvettes better but I chose to buy a 2012 camaro over a corvette. The camaro is a great and beautiful car, so yea, it was my first choice. V6 was first choice too. The only thing it lacks for me is the sound of the V8 engine.

My first choice was a 2011 Mustang GT with the Premium Pkg but the dealer would not work with me on my trade so I bought a 2011 2SS which now I have no regrets.

I wanted the 5th gen since I saw the concept and it was the only car I was considering buying. GM kind of screwed that up though, so I sold it and am enjoying (still) the true automotive love of my life, my '91 Camaro.
