I would have to move or get a truck. Going that slow everyday back and forth would drive me nuts. It's your car and life, do what you want. I would keep a pillow in the car and catch some naps while on the driveway.

Haha I'd sure invest in some splash guards all around ASAP. We all know the tires on the 1le pick up everything. Heck when I accidentally wash a fuzzy sweater with a work shirt I just use the tires as a lint roller and back over my shirt a couple times to get the lint off.

I've had the rears on for several months. Actually just put the fronts on while I installed my air scoop today

I just ordered my 1LE and part of why I did not order black or Ashen Gray...I live on a dirt road almost 2 miles to the nearest paved road! It sucks in the spring...like NOW when it is soup! It sucks when it rains. I don't drive my 82 Z28 except when it is dry and sunny. My 1LE will stay in the barn too unless it is dry and sunny. It will never see my road when it is wet! It's really not a huge problem...I just go REALLY slow!

If I had to do it everyday, I would probably be forced to drive faster on the dirt as I am usually in a hurry in my daily driver. But since these are my toys...and babies, they go VERY slowly on the dirt...won't drive them if in a hurry!

I do plan to put rock/splash gaurds on my 1LE too though along with the ZL1 rockers.

Son you need a set of dukes style mags and tires for that car. Must be fun doing broadies out there though. I live in a big city, so we call them side shows here and you'll get like 10 days in the slammer for doing them. lol

You say it sucks, but all I can visualize is me doing my best Bo and Luke impression and getting to do it on a daily basis.

It's only a car, you only live once, enjoy every moment you can and remember; rock chips are the vehicular equivalent of scars, and hot chicks really dig scars.

Begin a contest, against yourself, where you see which day you can keep the car sideways the longest down your dirt road. It's practically the entire reason RWD V8s were created.

That's the right outlook and sounds fun, he just needs some curves to really have some fun.

You must not know how expensive rock is. Someone else's road hell ya. Sit it sideways. But u don't throw rock off your own road. I mean in not anal about a spotless car. But I also not a FAN of rock chips. Yes shuts gonna happen. Not gonna lose sleep over a chip like some. But I'm not gonna put them there on purpose ya know?

Before we paved our 900ft access road to our drive we would get free asphalt grindings and the heat of the summer would pack it to a near road like surface. You need a buddy in the local county road crew.

I have family that live in the Boerne Tx. area with a driveway that's very similar. When it rained it got really bad.
Then finally after decades they got the first section of the road paved. But there is still a section that is rock/dirt/gravel. Their cars are always covered with dirt.

I'm not sure how well your 1LE is going to hold up going up and down that driveway every day. I would pass on taking my car down that everyday (or even just on weekends).

When I lived in San Antonio/Boerne area I drove a 4X4 Pickup truck and had a lot of fun with it.
My truck also worked out great when I lived at the beach down in Corpus where you can drive on the beach.
