I'll soon have twin 80mm turbos, iron LSNEXT block, nitrous outlet set up.
That turbo will have enough heat under the hood as it is, add two and id be looking for a melted manifold. Forged bottom end?

There won't be much heat under the hood, on top of the turbo being coated, it will have a blanket, the down pipe is coated and wrapped. The down pipe is 3' long. No exhaust. Plus I'm running E98. Burns significantly colder.

I'm sorry but melting the manifold?? Lots of different cars run turbos mounted in similar locations with no problems. ..

First of all, there are not "lots" of Camaros running those sizes turbos, that turbo is huge, and in the rare category, not the common. Was half joking when I said they might melt, but turbos get hot and there is lots of plastic under the hood.

Looks similar to the ON3 Kit, good to know. Im upgrading to a Magnum M480 Racing next winter and going for 1000+ with some further mods to the kit.

Yea everything that could possibly ( which I doubt it would) melt is wrapped, covered or coated. Like I said before it won't put off as much heat as you would think. Coated/ wrapped/ heat blanket+ well vented hood I'll be just fine. I'll be able to read engine bay temps and IAT's so ill let yall know here on March 5th/ 6th 👍

I have twins on mine from Nickey Chicago and have driven it to Hudsonville Michigan which is 337 miles one way and the temp stayed normal. Same for city driving. I have not had a heat problem. Granted this is not a daily driver for me.

So I am interested in knowing what your temperatures are under the hood with one massive turbo.

That's very nice looking.. Kudos to the shop... Are you going to use the LAVA blanket... I'm now running them on both of my turbos... Though mine are low mount...
