If this driver is not a professional then all I can say is he has a slop jar full of balls on him.

Awesome!

That was really an awesome lap, but there were some slips that without them, the time would have been even faster....IMO! Take that, Ford!

How do I download a copy of these three ring videos. I need to watch them more often. I actually watched the ZR1 video last night after I heard about the ZL1 time. Can't wait to watch the ZL1 video when I get home.

That is totally fekkin amazing, I love the way that the driver and car seemed so composed throughout making it look like a sunday drive!!

If I can afford one, I will take mine around the ring to see how fast I can get for a comparison.......bearing in mind I'm no pro!!

Not exactly, in the ZR1 video the driver purposely did not shift into 6 gear but stayed at the top of 5th. If the ZR1 had a bit more downforce, he probaly would have had the confidence to go faster. Going 180-200 mph on bumpy/uneven pavement takes balls of steal.

You can, I've download several YouTube videos in the past including the Top Gear episode with the Holden Ute Maloo.

Is 6th an overdrive on the ZR1? Even if it isn't I'd still say it is impressive because you aren't going to get a much better straight for top speed unless you are on the runway at Kennedy space center. So does that mean the top speed of the ZR1 isn't 'usable' while the ZL1s is?

These are real questions I honestly dont know.

There is a YouTube download add on for Firefox that works quite well. It gives you a button located right below the video to save as a .mp4 in any of the resolutions posted. It's a must have for Firefox users.
