That way all of our pulls are compared under the same conditions. Other shops may post their numbers on heat-soaked motors for which heat-soak can account for a 20-30 rw hp difference.
how long do you let the motor warm up before making a run?

probably ~$60.00 or so for parts. dont know yet. but for just about every other GM v-8 they run around 30 bucks or so each. as for install... a case of beer, a pair of jack stands and chocks, a good set of tools and a jack, plus a few hours to swap them out.

a shop would probably charge around $150-400.00 to do it. and thats exaggerated on both ends as I do most of my work myself.

Seriously? Did you miss the part where they mentioned super charged? This was also an open hood vid with the cam on the motor so your hearing the motor, not the exhaust, so on a blown car you mostly hear the blower.

As stated before the car comes with some comfortable squishy rubber bushings. Serious power adders are going to going to make that sucker move. If that thing wasn't rocking I'd be worried. Poly mounts will be available soon I'm sure, 8 cyl mounts are usually 6 bolts, jack stand and a couple hours (if you don't know what your doing, much less if you do).

Thats still kind of a personal preference kind of thing though I doubt some would want the vibration from the harder mounts. If you do keep the motor from moving you will feel it in the rest of the car. As some might not like the whine of a blower, and most people couldn't even handle driving a car with that power. Lets face it this is a car for a selective market and it is pretty modified and very powerful.

For a first round, "prototype" kind of car thats some impressive numbers. Can't wait to see a full blown car with a body kit and everything. Personally I'm very excited to see Hennessy stepping in and giving the Camaro owners a copo option.

Like others interested to see how the bottom end and powertrain hold up to these kind of mods. Also what kind of powertain add ons will become standard to hold up to that kind of power in the car.

348 is a low number, 376 is a little high.. but all cars will perform different considering the dynos, weather, miles on car...etc.

Are you sure the 480rwhp thing wasnt about the guy from magnachargers G8 GT?
or maybe your thinking of just the supercharger with no CAI, exhaust, tune?

well one thing is for sure the motor has way to much play so they better make an engine damper.

Are you guys going to be willing to push any more boost on pump gas or are you leaving your kit @ 6psi for warranty/dependability reasons?
