1le gearing
I purchased a 2013 1le that is cammed and has a twin turbo kit. I know the stock rear is the stock 3.91. Im trying to figure out if my car has odd transmission gearing. Im at 2500ish rpms at 80mph with stock tire height. that seems high to me compared to all other ls powered vehicles ive owned. I know the 1le has difference gearing vs a stock SS. I cant seem to find any info on how difference the geariung is or if my car has something else down to it.
thanks |

It seems to me or if I change the final ratio from 1LE to SS, I get a better transfer than 1LE ..?

2K RPM in 6th should be 84 mph on a stock 2013 1LE.
Either you are NOT running stock tire height, or someone swapped out your rear gear for something a bit shorter.

Have you checked the accuracy of your speedometer to your actual speed? My tuner was able to adjust mine to my smaller diameter wheels.
Just a thought. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk

5th and 6th definitely drop more than 500 rpm. Im thinking someone changed the gears in the trans. Maybe it was a half mile car or someone didn't like having 5th and 6th usless for top speed runs?

Im gonna check the speed at 3000rpms tomorrow in each gear. Im guessing the changed the gears in the trans for road courae because its revving so high in 6th. Im guessing i will be at 90 or 95 at 3000rpms, so im guessing the car will top out in the 180 or 190 range gear wise. The previous owner didnt touch the trans, he just did the turbo kit
